Delhi MCD Polls 2022: Sangam Vihar Constituency Wards After Delimitation — Check Details

Delhi MCD Election 2022: Civic polls are scheduled in Delhi on December 4 to elect 250 councillors of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi. Votes will be counted and results will be declared on December 7.

MCD Election 2022 Live: Delhi State Election Commissioner (SEC) Vijay Dev on November 4 announced dates for the long-due Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) polls. Delhi State Election Commission announced that voting for unified three municipal corporations - East Delhi Municipal Corporation, South Delhi Municipal Corporation and North Delhi Municipal Corporation - into one MCD will be held on December 4. Counting of the votes will be held on December 7 and the results will be announced the same day.

In the Sangam Vihar  Delhi assembly constituency, there are a total of three wards to go under poll in the 2022 MCD election. The names of the three wards of the Sangam Vihar assembly constituency are Sangam Vihar-C, Sangam Vihar-B, and Tughlakabad Extension.

1. Sangam Vihar-C: In the Sangam Vihar Delhi assembly constituency, Sangam Vihar-C is ward number one hundred sixty-eight in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 73,215. The Sangam Vihar-C (Ward 168) MCD seat is unreserved.

2. Sangam Vihar-B: In the Sangam Vihar Delhi assembly constituency, Sangam Vihar-B is ward number one hundred sixty-nine in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 72,010. The Sangam Vihar-B (Ward 169) MCD seat is reserved for women.

3. Tughlakabad Extension: In the Sangam Vihar Delhi assembly constituency, Tughlakabad Extension is ward number one hundred seventy in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 72,486. The Tughlakabad Extension (Ward 170) MCD seat is unreserved.
