Delhi MCD Polls 2022: Rohtas Nagar Constituency Wards After Delimitation — Check Details

Delhi MCD Election 2022: Civic polls are scheduled in Delhi on December 4 to elect 250 councillors of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi. Votes will be counted and results will be declared on December 7.

MCD Election 2022 Live: Delhi State Election Commissioner (SEC) Vijay Dev on November 4 announced dates for the long-due Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) polls. Delhi State Election Commission announced that voting for unified three municipal corporations - East Delhi Municipal Corporation, South Delhi Municipal Corporation and North Delhi Municipal Corporation - into one MCD will be held on December 4. Counting of the votes will be held on December 7 and the results will be announced the same day.

In the Rohtas Nagar  Delhi assembly constituency, there are a total of four wards to go under poll in the 2022 MCD election. The names of the four wards of the Rohtas Nagar assembly constituency are Ashok Nagar, Ram Nagar East, Rohtash Nagar, Welcome Colony.

1. Ashok Nagar: In the Rohtas Nagar Delhi assembly constituency, Ashok Nagar is ward number two hundred twenty-one in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 59,850. The Ashok Nagar (Ward 221) MCD seat is reserved for women.

2. Ram Nagar East: In the Rohtas Nagar Delhi assembly constituency, Ram Nagar East is ward number two hundred twenty-two in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 59,874. The Ram Nagar East (Ward 222) MCD seat is unreserved.

3. Rohtash Nagar: In the Rohtas Nagar Delhi assembly constituency, Rohtash Nagar is ward number two hundred twenty-three in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 55,550. The Rohtash Nagar (Ward 223) MCD seat is reserved for women.

4. Welcome Colony: In the Rohtas Nagar Delhi assembly constituency, Welcome Colony is ward number two hundred twenty-four in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 65,707. The Welcome Colony (Ward 40) MCD seat is unreserved .
