MCD Election 2022 Live: Delhi State Election Commissioner (SEC) Vijay Dev on November 4 announced dates for the long-due Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) polls. Delhi State Election Commission announced that voting for unified three municipal corporations - East Delhi Municipal Corporation, South Delhi Municipal Corporation and North Delhi Municipal Corporation - into one MCD will be held on December 4. Counting of the votes will be held on December 7 and the results will be announced the same day.

In the Nangloi Jat Delhi assembly constituency, there are a total of four wards to go under poll in the 2022 MCD election. The names of the four wards of the Nangloi Jat assembly constituency are Jawalapuri, Nangloi Jat, Nihal Vihar and Guru Harkishan Nagar.

1. Jawalapuri: In the Nangloi Jat Delhi assembly constituency, Jawalapuri is ward number forty-five in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 80,685. The Jawalapuri (Ward 45) MCD seat is reserved for Scheduled Caste women.

2. Nangloi Jat: In the Nangloi Jat Delhi assembly constituency, Nangloi Jat is ward number forty-six in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 64,870. The Nangloi Jat (Ward 46) MCD seat is reserved for women.

3. Nihal Vihar: In the Nangloi Jat Delhi assembly constituency, Nihal Vihar is ward number forty-seven in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 52,919. The Nihal Vihar (Ward 47) MCD seat is unreserved.
