3 Dead As Car Hits Divider, Rams Into Truck After Losing Control In Delhi's Badarpur
Three people have died and four others have been seriously injured after a car collided with a truck on Delhi's Badarpur flyover on Sunday.
Delhi Police on Sunday said that three people died and four others were seriously injured in an accident between a car and a truck on Delhi's Badarpur flyover. The accident was reported at 00:48 hours by a caller who informed Badarpur Police Station about the incident.
As per the details provided by the Delhi police, there were seven people in the car out of which three were killed in the accident and the four others sustained serious injuries. The accident happened near a car showroom on the Badarpur flyover after the car driver lost control and hit the divider, went the opposite way, and collided with the truck.

In another incident reported from the Badarpur flyover yesterday, a 35-year-old man was killed on Friday as he fell off the flyover after a speeding car allegedly hit his scooter from behind. The deceased identified as Pratap Singh lived in Delhi's New Seemapuri area.
As per the preliminary investigation done by the police, it was revealed that Singh was travelling to Sarita Vihar from Faridabad on his scooter. His scooter was hit near the Tughlakabad metro station on the Badarpur flyover. The impact of the hit was such that he fell from the flyover onto the service road. He was rushed to a hospital where he was declared dead on arrival, TOI reported citing a police official.
The accused, Virender Rana, a resident of Uttam Nagar has been arrested by the police. The police suspect that the accused was driving the car at a high speed which led to the accident. A case has been registered by the police regarding the incident, TOI reported.
