'As If We Were Terrorists': Bhagwant Mann's Big Statement After Meeting Jailed Kejriwal
After the meeting, CM Mann stated that the prison authorities organised the meeting as if it was not leaders who were meeting but "terrorists."
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Monday meets Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo Arvind Kejriwal inside Tihar Jail complex. After the meeting, CM Mann stated that the prison authorities organised the meeting as if it was not leaders who were meeting but "terrorists." Calling it as "limit of dictatorship", CM Mann stated: "Two Chief Ministers were introduced as terrorists."
Earlier today, CM Mann reached Tihar Jail to meet AAP convener and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal.

This was the first meeting between the two AAP leaders since Kejriwal was apprehended by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on March 21, in connection with a money laundering case linked to now-scrapped Delhi liquor policy.

Previously, a scheduled meeting between the two leaders, along with Sanjay Singh, set for last week, was postponed. Prison officials cited a mix-up of names and security concerns. Singh stated that despite jail officials assigning a token, the meeting did not took place. However, officials clarified that the proposed meeting was cancelled at the last minute due to an error in the booking process.
Currently, Kejriwal is held in Jail number 2 at the Tihar prison.

In Delhi's prison, each inmate has the right to nominate 10 people who are allowed to visit them twice a week. However, only three visitors are permitted to meet with the prisoner simultaneously. The names of the individuals must be approved by the jail superintendent before being granted access.
