A man hacked his brother to death with an axe after the latter turned off the music and stopped him from dancing at a family function in Madhya Pradesh's Satna district.

A man in Madhya Pradesh's Satna district allegedly murdered his brother with an axe after he "turned off the music" at a family function, news agency PTI reported citing police on Sunday.

Rajkumar Kol (30), the accused, was arrested for the killing that took place at Mauhar village under Kothi police station limits on Friday night, as per the PTI report.

Rakesh (35), Rajkumar’s brother, had organised a function at his residence where music was playing on a sound system, said Rupendra Rajput, in-charge of Kothi police station.
