Chopped Off Body Of Woman Found In UP's Azamgarh, Head Missing
The locals found dismembered hands and legs inside a well while the head of the body was missing.
A chopped dead body of woman was found on Wednesday in a well in the Azamgarh district of Uttar Pradesh. The hands and legs of the body were chopped off while the head of the body was missing. The horrific crime has been reported from the Ahraula police station area of the district.
The incident has caused panic among the residents. It is being reported that the body of the woman was half-naked with only an undergarment over the body. Locals informeed the police was after which SP Anurag Maurya and other police team reached the spot.
Police is trying to probe the case with the help of locals. SP Maurya said that forensic and dog squad teams have already reached the spot and are investigating the area. Police is aslo trying to identify the victim.
It is being speculated that the woman was murdered at a different location and the body was disposed of here. Police is trying to get information if any report for a missing woman was filed in nearby area.

The case comes days after a similar incident of Shraddha Walker came forth. Accused Aftab Poonawalla killed his girlfriend Shraddha Walker and chopped off her body into pieces and thre them at 18 different locations across Delhi.
Shraddha was reported missing in May this year after she eloped with Aftab to Delhi. On Monday, the Delhi Police said that they got lead in the case and revealed the gruesome incident.
The Delhi Police on Tuesday said that it was considering to write to dating app, Bumble, requesting details of Aftab's profile to find details of the woman who visited her in the same flat where he stacked his live-in partner Shraddha Walker's chopped body parts in a refrigerator, reported the news agency.
