CM Yogi And His Cabinet Ministers Make A Splash At Prayag Sangam Maha Kumbh — WATCH
UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath along with his deputies and other cabinet ministers took a dip in the Triveni Sangam during the Maha Kumbh in Prayaraj.
Maha Kumbh 2025: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath led his state cabinet on Wednesday as they took a dip in the Triveni Snagam during the ongoing Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj.
In an unsual sight, the UP Chief Minister, who is usually in a serious mood, was seen sharing light-hearted moments with his cabinet minsiters as they splashed water at the each other while taking the holy dip. Deputy CMs Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak were also present with him.

Yogi Adityanath was in Prayagraj to attend a special cabinet meeting of the UP government when they decided to take a holy dip and offer their respects.
Minister of State for Minority Welfare, Muslim Waqf and Haj Danish Azad Ansari, Minister Ashish Patel of ally Apna Dal (S) and Baldev Singh Aulakh, the only Sikh face of the UP government, were also present. Fisheries Minister Sanjay Nishad of ally Nishad Party also joined.

After taking the holy dip, Keshav Prasad Maurya said that the joy cannot be described in words. "A joint meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Cabinet was held here today in Mahakumbh Prayagraj. Tough decisions have also been taken and preparations have started for the Ardhkumbh of 2031 in the Mahakumbh of 2025. It os spiritual bliss which I said cannot be expressed in words," the Deputy CM told news agency ANI.
Before taking the holy dip, the UP CM was also seen feeding migratory birds. Earlier today, UP Director General of Police Prashant Kumar also took a dip in the Triveni Sangam.
The holy dip and the cabinet meeting comes on the day that marks the first anniversary of the Ram temple consecration ceremony in Ayodhya.
