A car caught a massive fire near Delhi's Dwarka underpass on Monday, causing disruption in vehicular movement on the route. Visuals surfaced on social media showed the red colour car turning into a ball of flame. Huge flames emanated from the car as several people gathered to watch it. There is no immediate report of any injury or loss of life in the incident.

On Sunday, an oil tanker caught fire in Delhi's Dwarka, killing a 36-year-old worker and injuring three others. The worker killed in the incident was carrying out the welding work on the tanker in Dwarka Sector 25. A police team rushed to the spot in Bharthal Village. "Four persons were found injured while welding an oil tanker and were immediately hospitalised at the Indira Gandhi Hospital in Dwarka Sector 9," police said. The injured persons were immediately hospitalised at Indira Gandhi Hospital, Sector 9, Dwarka.
Earlier this year, a 30-year-old man died after his car caught fire when he collided with a divider while taking a U-turn under Noida Sector 59 Metro station. The driver could not get out of the Toyota Corolla Altis and was burnt to death. The victim, Sahit Modem, was a resident of Sector 75 and worked with his father in HR consulting.
