Air Force Civil Engineer Shot Dead At His Home In UP's Prayagraj
Indian Air Force engineer SN Mishra was shot dead in Prayagraj. An unidentified individual fired at him through his window while he was resting in his residence.

An Indian Air Force civil engineer was shot dead on Saturday morning at his official residence in the cantonment area in Uttar Pradesh's Prayagraj, police said, news agency PTI reported.
The victim has been identified as SN Mishra (51), an Air Force construction engineer.
Manoj Singh, the Puramufti Station House Officer (SHO), said that while the victim was resting in his room, an unidentified individual fired at him from the window.
After being shot in the chest, Mishra was taken to the Army hospital. According to the SHO, Mishra passed away in the hospital from his wounds, and the body has been sent fot post-mortem.
Mishra is survived by his wife, a son and a daughter. Police said that following the family's complaint, a case will be filed and additional legal action will be taken.
3 Children Found Dead At Home In Hyderabad
Three children were found dead under suspicious circumstances at a house in Ameenpur in Sangareddy district, near Hyderabad, early Friday, IANS reported.
The mother of the children was admitted to a hospital, where she was undergoing treatment.
The police said that the woman complained of stomach pain around 3 a.m., and her husband Chennaiah, with the help of neighbours, rushed her to a hospital.
However, when Chennaiah returned home, he found all three children lying dead. They have been identified as Sai Krishna (12), Madhu Priya (10) and Gautam (8).
The officials said that they shifted the bodies of the kids to a local government hospital for autopsy, and registered a case of deaths under suspicious circumstances and took up an investigation.
Police are investigating if it was a case of food poisoning or if the woman poisoned the kids and attempted suicide due to family problems.
