The directive of the UP CM came on the day when the Congress MP Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi tried to visit along with other congress leaders in the area
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday vowed to impose strict action against 'miscreants' involved in Sambhal violence and directed the authorities to put up posters of all the identified troublemakers.
The directive of the UP CM came on the day when the Congress MP Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi tried to visit along with other congress leaders in the area but they were stopped by the police in the NCR region.
Amid a review meeting with senior state officials to assess the resolution of revenue disputes and the law and order situation across districts, yogi emphasised that lawlessness would not be tolerated in any district, be it Gautam Buddh Nagar, Aligarh, Sambhal, or elsewhere.
Referring to a recent incident in Sambhal, he instructed strict action against the miscreants involved. He further directed that damages to public property caused by such elements should be recovered from them.
The CM also ordered that individuals spreading anarchy be identified, and their posters displayed publicly to seek community assistance. He stressed the importance of conducting thorough search operations to ensure no miscreant escapes accountability.

In a separate incident, authorities have launched an investigation into allegations that a vehicle driven by Samajwadi Party MP Zia Ur Rahman Barq, who was recently booked in connection with violence in Sambhal, hit and killed a man, officials said on Wednesday.
Police stated that Samar Pal, the father of the 30-year-old victim, Gaurav, alleged that the vehicle involved in the June 24 incident bore the words "Samajwadi Party MP" and was being driven by Barq. He also accused the police of failing to conduct a proper investigation.
Superintendent of Police of Sambhal Krishan Kumar Bishnoi stated, "In the complaint, it has been mentioned that it was a black Scorpio car. The investigation has been given to ASP, who has been asked to submit a report within three days."
