A police team reached the spot within 10 minutes and fire tenders were also called. "We received information about fire at Lotus Grandeur banquet hall in Sector-74 at around 3 am, police reached the spot within 10 minutes. Ten fire tenders reached. It took time to douse the fire as it is a big structure. Rescue operation is going on. An electrician died in the incident," Noida DCP Ram Badan Singh said.

Fire Breaks Out At Slum In Rohini
A fire broke out in a slum area in Rohini here, officials of the Delhi Fire Services said on Wednesday. No casualties have been reported, as per officials. "We received a call regarding a fire in some shanties in the Vijay Vihar area close to Rithala at 9 pm. We rushed a total of seven fire tenders to the spot," PTI quoted a senior DFS official as saying. It took more than one hour to douse the flames, he added.
