Nikita Singhania’s Allegations Against Atul Subhash: ‘Forced Me Out Of House Twice, Assaulted, Threatened To Kill’

Nikita Singhania's court document reveals allegations against Atul Subhash, including forced eviction, assault, and threats. The document contradicts Atul's claims that she left willingly.

As the investigation into the suicide case of Atul Subhash, a Bengaluru-based AI software engineer, continues, the judicial custody of the accused in the case, Nikita Singhania, Nisha, and Anurag is set to end on Monday. The trio has filed bail applications in this regard. Meanwhile, a court document from Jaunpur has surfaced, revealing Nikita's serious allegations against Atul.

The document pertains to a prior case and includes Nikita's counter-statements to Atul’s accusations.

Nikita Singhani's Allegations Against Atul Subhash

Atul had alleged that Nikita left their home voluntarily, promising to return soon. However, after relocating to Jaunpur, Nikita filed nine cases against him. Nikita refuted this claim in the court document, stating that she did not leave the house voluntarily and accused Atul of forcing her out. "He evicted me twice—once in May 2021 and again in September 2021. Hoping he might realise his mistake, I visited him in Bengaluru, but he refused to let me enter the house, compelling us to lodge a police complaint," she alleged.

Nikita further alleged that Atul assaulted her in front of her mother. She said, "On May 17, 2021, Atul physically assaulted me in my mother's presence. He kicked and punched me and subsequently evicted both me and my mother. He also took away my jewellery, clothes, and important fixed deposit documents. During this time, he demanded Rs 10 lakh, threatening to kill me if I failed to bring the money."

Atul Subhash, a native of Samastipur, Bihar, was found dead in his Bengaluru apartment on December 9. He died by suicide, leaving behind a 24-page note and a 90-minute video. In these, he accused Nikita and her family of harassment and abetment to suicide.
