Mumbai Woman Travelling To Himachal Dies As Boulders Fall On Taxi, Husband Injured
Both were rushed to a nearby hospital for immediate medical attention. The driver has been referred to PGI Chandigarh for further treatment.
A woman from Mumbai was killed when boulders fell from a mountain onto a taxi in which she was travelling with her husband in Himachal Pradesh's Mandi on Sunday. The woman's husband and driver were injured in the accident that happened on the Chandigarh-Manali Highway near 4 Mile, Mandi.
According to the Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) in Mandi, Sagar Chand, "The incident resulted in the death of a woman, identified as Priya, while her husband and the driver sustained injuries."

The higher reaches of Himachal Pradesh experienced snowfall, with Kalpa and Kufri recording the highest precipitation. Narakanda, Keylong and other places in the state's higher reaches also received snow early on Sunday.
