'Hasin Jahan's Drama': Mohd Shami's Cousin After Court Orders Cricketer To Pay THIS Whopping Amount

Mohammed Shami case: Mohammed Shami's cousin, Dr Mumtaz, has alleged that Hasin Jahan is creating a "drama" in their legal battle.

Mohammed Shami has been ordered to pay Rs 4 lakh per month to his estranged wife Hasin Jahan.

Team India pacer Mohammed Shami's cousin, Dr Mumtaz, has claimed that his estranged wife, Hasin Jahan, was only creating a drama by going to the court.

Mumtaz said, "He was already paying an allowance... Hasin Jahan has been dragging this issue for too long. Hasin Jahan has created all this drama... We have tried to explain to her many times, but she did not listen... It will be better if the daughter stays with her father. He was already covering her school expenses."

The team India and Sunrisers Hyderabad spearhead got married to Hasin Jahan in 2014. However, four years into the marriage, they were separated. Mohammed Shami and Hasin Jahan have one daughter named Aaira, who was born in 2015. Jahan has two kids from a previous marriage. 

She approached the court in 2018, alleging domestic violence by Shami. She sought an interim maintenance amount of Rs 7 lakh for herself and Rs 3 lakh for her daughter. The Calcutta High Court has now ordered Shami to pay Rs 4 lakh per month to Hasin Jahan. Out of this, Jahan will get Rs 1.5 lakh and Rs 2.5 lakh will be paid to his daughter Aaira.
