Trainer Aircraft Crashes In Gujarat’s Mehsana, Woman Pilot Of Private Aviation Academy Injured
The inspector of Mehsana taluka police station, DG Badva, said the single-engine aircraft crashed into an open field at Ucharpi village near Mehsana town due to a technical fault.

A woman trainee pilot sustained an injury after a trainer aircraft of a private aviation academy crashed in the Mehsana district of Gujarat on Monday evening, a police official stated.
According to DG Badva, Inspector of Mehsana taluka police station, the single-engine aircraft crashed into an open field at Ucharpi village near Mehsana town due to technical fault.

"After taking off from the Mehsana airport with a woman trainee pilot, the trainer aircraft of an aviation academy crashed into a field at Ucharpi. The trainee pilot received minor injuries in the accident. She is undergoing treatment at a hospital," the inspector said, news agency PTI reported.
Further, Badva added that the Airport, as well as officials of aviation, were notified about the crash in pursuant of further investigation into the incident.
Air Force Jaguar Aircraft Crashes In Ambala During Routine Sortie
In a similar incident, on March 7, 2025, a Jaguar aircraft of the Indian Air Force crashed in Haryana's Ambala district during a routine sortie, said the IAF in a social media post. The crash occurred due to a system malfunction, and the pilot maneuvered the aircraft away from any habitation on the ground before ejecting safely.
"A Jaguar aircraft of the IAF crashed at Ambala, during a routine training sortie today, after encountering system malfunction. The pilot maneuvered the aircraft away from any habitation on ground, before ejecting safely. An inquiry has been ordered by the IAF, to ascertain the cause of the accident," said the IAF in the social media post.
