Meat Stored With Veg Food, 'Stinking' Paneer: Viral Video Exposes 'Alarming' Conditions At Jaipur Restaurant
A video has surfaced online showing a food inspection at a restaurant in Jaipur, Rajasthan, where officers reportedly found food several safety violations.
A video shared on Instagram exposed alarming hygiene issues at a popular eatery in Jaipur Rajasthan. The footage, shared by content creator Urvashi Agarwal, shows kitchen scenes of the restaurant from an inspection, raising concern over food safety and hygiene.
The video has gone viral on social media and reportedly shows Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) officer Pankaj Ojha during a food inspection at the popular spot.
In the video, Ojha is heard questioning the storage practices in the restaurant's kitchen as his team hands him trays of gravy. He says, "How many days old is this stored in the freezer? This is an alarming situation."
He further shows how raw meat was stored in the freezer alongside vegetarian food items, including the gravy trays, pointing out the restaurant's carelessness and how it discredited religious sentiments. Ojha added, “Aam janta ki aastha ke saath isse bada khilwar nahi ho sakta.”
The RAS officer further inspects a piece of paneer, which can be see stored in dirty water. He described the paneer as stale and "stinking."
