Maha Kumbh Mela 2025: 'E-rickshaw Baba' Reaches Prayagraj From Delhi In 13 Days — Watch

The Mahakumbh, which is held once every 12 years, is scheduled to begin on January 13 and conclude on February 26. There will be six shahi snans. 

Maha Kumbh Mela 2025: Several prominent Akharas, including Atal Akhara, Mahanirvani Akhara, Niranjani Akhara, Ahwan Akhara, and Juna Akhara have reached Praygaraj and set up their camps for the grand Maha Kumbh Mela scheduled to begin in a few days. One of the seers, Mahant Om, popularly known as 'E-rickshaw Baba' also arrived in the city from Delhi on a customised three-wheeler to attend the Mela.

 He said it took him 12 to 13 days to come to Prayagraj from Delhi. "This is a slow-moving vehicle...There is a bed, daily essentials," he told ANI.

Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh DGP Prashant Kumar said around 40 to 50 crore people will take a holy dip during Maha Kumbh Mela. "Complete security arrangements have been made. CCTVs have been installed for surveillance in the entire area. Work is going on in coordination with all departments."
