'Kill Her Or...': Girlfriend Attacks Faridabad Man For Not Leaving Wife

The man alleged that his girlfriend suggested that he either divorce his wife or kill her and his children, claiming she had planned several ways to do so. He also accused the woman of holding him captive.

A man in Haryana’s Faridabad was allegedly assaulted by his girlfriend and her family after he refused to leave her wife and children to marry her, despite constant pressure from her. The man, Gulshan Bajrangi, was seriously injured in the attack and sustained multiple fractures. He has been hospitalised since the attack.

Gulshan, a married man and father of three, claimed he had been in a relationship with the woman named Gunjan, who is a divorcee and mother. They had been in a relationship for the past seven years. According to the victim, Gunjan had been consistently forcing him to marry her, but he refused to leave his wife and children due to his commitment to his family, India Today reported.

The man alleged that Gunjan even suggested that he either kill his wife and children or divorce her, claiming she had planned several ways to do so. He also accused the woman of holding him captive between March 18 and March 23, using intoxicating substances to keep him quiet.

On March 22, Gunjan reportedly took Gulshan to his family home and began pressurising him to either poison his wife and children or convince her to allow him to marry Gunjan. Gulshan stated that he refused to harm his family, claiming his wife had agreed to his second marriage.

The altercations between Gulshan and Gunjan increased when he resisted marrying her despite his wife’s alleged consent. He claimed that on March 29, he asked Gunjan to return the Rs 21.50 lakh she had borrowed from him. Following this, Gunjan, along with her father Rakesh and mother Kiran Kamal, assaulted him. He managed to escape.

After Gulshan managed to escape somehow, he received a call from her brother Aman, who suggested resolving the matter privately. He agreed to the meeting and drove to a temple in Faridabad. As he approached the location, he was ambushed by Gunjan, her parents, Aman, a man named Mannu Honey, and several others, who he said were armed with sticks and knives. He alleged that he was beaten brutally before fleeing.

According to the India Today report, Gulshan was eventually assisted by bystanders, who informed the police about his condition. He was rushed to a local hospital from where he was later shifted to a larger medical facility, where he has spent seven days in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). He still remains under treatment.

A case has been registered, but no official statement has been issued yet by the police. Gulshan has accused the police of not taking strict action in the matter and filing charges under lenient sections. No arrests have been made so far.
