Fadnavis Govt Orders Inquiry Into Ranveer Allahbadia Over 'Sex With Parents' Comment
The Maharashtra government has ordered an inquiry into Youtuber Ranveer Allahbadia's inappropriate comments made during a YouTube show.

The Maharashtra government on Friday ordered an inquiry into the YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia's crass remarks and directed the cultural department to investigate. As per the details, the department, led by minister Ashish Shelar, has been tasked with conducting the probe.
This came amid complaints were filed regarding the vulgarity on the YouTube show “India's Got Latent,” in which Ranveer Allahbadia, who was present as a judge in one of the episodes, made some objectionable remarks.
As per the information, complaints were received by the department about the vulgarity in the show and other such shows which are being run with tickets to the people without proper permission. Following which, a meeting was called, which was chaired by Minister Ashish Shelar. After the meeting, the minister ordered a detailed inquiry.
In other news, the Mumbai Police has asked podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia to appear before them on Saturday as part of a probe into his controversial remarks. An official said that teams of Mumbai and Assam police on Friday visited Allahbadia's residence, but found the flat locked. Earlier, the Podcaster had been asked to remain present at the Khar police station on Thursday in connection with the probe into his controversial comments. But after he failed to appear, the police issued a second summons, asking him to appear on Friday.

A controversy erupted after podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia made an offensive remark on the show. During the episode, Allahbadia posed a shocking question to a contestant: “Would you rather watch your parents have sex for the rest of your life or join in once to stop it forever?” The remark has sparked backlash, drawing criticism from viewers and authorities alike.
Ranveer Allahbadia’s comment has caused a huge backlash, with the All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) demanding a ban on the show and legal action against those responsible.
