15 In Hyderabad Have Narrow Escape As Massive Fire Damages Boats On Hussain Sagar. VIDEO
A massive fire erupted on two boats during a celebratory event in Hyderabad, narrowly missing 15 individuals onboard. Caused by fireworks, the blaze engulfed both boats, injuring three.

Hyderabad boat fire: As many as 15 people had a close shave when a massive fire broke out on two boats in the Hussain Sagar in Hyderabad on the intervening night of Sunday and Monday. The blaze is believed to have been caused by firecrackers set off during the 'Bharat Mata Maha Aarti', organised by the Bharata Mata Foundation, at People's Plaza on Necklace Road.

At the time of the incident, 15 people were on board the boats. Fortunately, all of them managed to escape. At least 3 persons were injured in the incident, reported news website Mid-Day.
The fire quickly spread from one boat to the other, causing gutting both vessels.
Union Minister G Kishan Reddy and Telangana Governor Jishnu Dev Varma participated in the event but had left by the time the accident occurred. BJP MPs Eatala Rajendar, Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, and M Raghunandan Rao, and music director of 'RRR' fame MM Keeravani were also part of the event.
