Man Beheaded For Skull Over YouTube's Black Magic Ritual In Ghaziabad

After the police arrested the accused, they also recovered the skull of Raju from a drain in Ghaziabad. Additionally, they seized the skull of an animal, sharpened weapons, and a mobile phone.

Four people have been arrested by Ghaziabad Police for reportedly killing a man and using his skull for alleged occult practices over the directions of two "tantriks" in the aspiration that they would receive at least "Rs 50 to 60 crore" after performing the rituals.

As per the India Today report, police confirmed that the accused hailing from Bihar were employed as e-rickshaw drivers in Delhi. Two individuals confessed to a friend that they had learned black magic rituals on YouTube, which they believed could make them wealthy if they performed a ceremony requiring a human skull. The arrested suspects were identified as Vikas (28), also known as Parmatma, along with Narendra, Pawan Kumar, and Pankaj.

The crime traces back to June 2024, when police discovered a headless body in a drain in Ghaziabad. An investigation was initiated, and in August, two suspects Vikas Gupta (24), alias Mota, and Dhananjay (25) were apprehended.

Police Reveals Mastermind Of Crime

During questioning, Mota and Dhananjay revealed that Parmatma had approached them to kill someone and retrieve the skull for black magic rituals. Police stated that Parmatma, who already had a Rs 25,000 bounty on him, masterminded the crime. The suspects admitted to murdering Raju Shah (29) at Parmatma's behest. Parmatma was subsequently arrested on Saturday, December 7.

Parmatma disclosed amid interrogation that his associate, Narendra, requested a human skull on behalf of Pankaj and Pawan. Convinced that black magic could bring riches, Parmatma offered Vikas and Dhananjay Rs 5 lakh to kill Raju, decapitate him, and deliver the skull to Narendra.

After the police arrested the accused, they also recovered the skull of Raju from a drain in Ghaziabad. Additionally, they seized the skull of an animal, sharpened weapons, and a mobile phone used in the crime.

A senior police officer stated, "In June 2022, we received a beheaded body. After the incident, police filed an FIR and launched a probe... We have recovered the skull and all the accused have been booked under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS)."
