A sea of pilgrims emerged at the Triveni Sangam on Wednesday to take a holy dip before the Kumbh, which has drawn 65 crore devotees so far, culminates with final snan on Maha Shivratri.

The six-week-long Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 is set to culminate today with the final snan on the occasion of Maha Shivratri. A sea of pilgrims emerged at the Triveni Sangam on Wednesday to take a holy dip before the mega religious gathering, which has drawn 65 crore devotees so far, ends.

Touted as the world's largest religious gathering, the Maha Kumbh is held once every 12 years, attracting millions seeking spiritual solace through a dip in the Sangam. The devotees who visited Maha Kumbh included a remarkable lineup of several politicians, celebrities, industrialists, and other distinguished personalities, who also arrived in Prayagraj to take a holy dip at the Sangam.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Ministers Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, Nirmala Sitharaman, and Nitin Gadkari, business tycoons Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani, Bollywood celebrities Katrina Kaif, Raveena Tandon, Vicky Kaushal, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Akshay Kumar, and international stars Chris Martin of Coldplay and Hollywood actress Dakota Johnson.

Spiritual leader Baba Ramdev, singer Kailash Kher, philanthropist and member of Rajya Sabha Sudha Murthy, and fitness icon Milind Soman are some of the others who have also taken a dip.
