Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh – A disturbing incident occurred on Tuesday around 4 PM at the SG Grand Society, located in the Rajendra Nagar Extension of Ghaziabad, where a woman ran her car over a child playing in the residential compound.

The footage shows several children playing in the society’s premises when the woman’s vehicle struck one of them. After the child became trapped under the car’s wheel, a man rushed to the scene and quickly pulled the child to safety. The woman stepped out of the vehicle and briefly approached the injured child. However, within seconds, she got back into the car and fled the scene.

The entire episode was caught on camera, and the video soon surfaced online, drawing widespread attention.

The incident falls under the jurisdiction of the Nandgram Police Station. The video has since gone viral on social media. A user on X (formerly Twitter), alleged that pages were torn from the society’s entry register in an attempt to shield the woman involved. "To save her, some people got the gate entry register torn off. Now, when asked for the footage, the AOA officials are not providing it, due to which an FIR could not be lodged."

Reports indicate that while the child survived but he sustained severe injuries. Locals informed the police about the incident, but as of now, no action has been taken.
