Shocking Video: Woman Throws Terrified Child Out of Lift After He Begs to Keep Dog Away

A child in Ghaziabad was frightened by a pet owner bringing two dogs into an elevator. The owner pushed him out, prompting online condemnation and police action.

A video of a terrified child in an elevator at a Ghaziabad society is going viral. The reason for his fear — two pet dogs being ushered into the lift by the owner. The incident occurred on the evening of Wednesday, February 19. The UP Police has now registered a case against the woman pet owner and taken her into custody.

What Happened In The Lift?

According to the Gautam Buddh Nagar Police Commissionerate, the incident was reported from 12th Avenue in Gaur City. The clip shows the child trembling in fear as soon as he sees the woman trying to step into the elevator with her two dogs.

Instead of backing away, she starts arguing with the boy and asks him to get out. After a couple of seconds, she grabs the boy and shoves him out of the lift. She moves out of the lift too.

A few seconds later, the lift doors open and the boy barges in. He then frantically presses the elevator's buttons in a bid to close the doors as soon as possible. At this time, the woman is seen standing outside the lift with her dogs. As the doors close again, the boy is seen shivering in fear.

The video has garnered thousands of views and shares with netizens slamming the woman's conduct. Activist Deepika Narayan Bharadwaj even sought the intervention of the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights and strict action against the woman.
