Respite Over, Brace For Intense Heat As Delhi Temperature Set To Soar To 43°C
Delhi weather today: Friday started with a clear sky but is expected to become partly cloudy later in the day. The maximum temperature in Delhi could go up to 43°C.

Delhi Weather News Today: After a brief respite from the heat this week, a change in the Delhi weather is in the offing. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast a whopping rise of five to seven degrees Celsius in the maximum temperature in Delhi over the next five days. However, the weather department has denied the possibility of a heatwave during this period.
According to the IMD, the minimum temperature in the last few days was significantly below normal (three to six degrees Celsius) and the maximum temperature was five to seven degrees Celsius below normal. South-westerly winds blew at a speed of 19 kilometres per hour in Delhi on Tuesday.
Temperature Likely To Cross 40 Degrees Celsius
According to the IMD's seven-day forecast, the weather is expected to remain clear on Friday. There is a possibility of a continuous increase in the maximum temperature, which will reach 43 degrees Celsius by the beginning of next week.
Partly cloudy skies are expected on Friday and the maximum temperature is expected to be around 39.5 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature around 26 degrees Celsius. Thunderstorms could be seen at a few places. The rest of the week will be mostly clear. Strong surface winds will persist throughout the week.
According to the weather department, the maximum temperature in Delhi on Thursday was 37 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was 24.6 degrees Celsius, which is 3 degrees less than the average. Meanwhile, the humidity level was 38% at 5:30 PM.
