London-Based Gangster Claims Responsibility For Delhi Property Dealer's Murder: 'Don't Play Victim Card'

London-based gangster Kapil Sangwan claimed responsibility for the murder of Delhi property dealer Rajkumar Dalal over a property dispute.

A London-based gangster has reportedly claimed responsibility for the murder of a 52-year-old property dealer in Delhi. Rajkumar Dalal was driving his Toyota Fortuner when unidentified assailants approached his car from the side and opened fire in outer Delhi's Pashchim Vihar (East) area on Friday.

The police suspected a gangster behind the killing with the gangster's confession turning the suspicion to be true. In a post on Facebook, London-based gangster Kapil Sangwan alias Nandu said he gave the hit order on Dalal because he was involved in a bidding for Manjeet Mahal, a Delhi-based gangster, as per an NDTV report.

"I got the murder done. He used to occupy a plot for my enemy Manjeet Mahal. When out on parole, I met Manjeet Mahal and told him that whoever supports him would become my enemy," he said in the post.

"Don't play this victim card. You started it. I am going to finish it," he added.

Interpol Notice Against Nandu

As per the report, Nandu, who is hiding in London faces an Interpol Red Corner Notice (RCN). An RCN is issued by the Interpol at the request of a member country to seek the location and arrest of wanted people globally.

The case is likely to be transferred to the Delhi Police's Crime Branch, a police officer said, according to the report.

15 Rounds Fired At Dalal

Dalal was killed after the attackers fired 15 rounds at the property dealer to make sure that he was dead before fleeing, an officer said. The killers seemed to have conducted a recce of the target before committing the crime, the officer said, adding that the case appeared to be the fallout of a property dispute.
