Delhi Police Issues Traffic Advisory Ahead Of JD Vance's Arrival. Avoid These Routes
No vehicle will be allowed to halt or park on Sardar Patel Marg, Gurugram Road, Parade Road, Thimmaiya Marg, and Air Force Road or the surrounding areas.

The Delhi Police have issued a traffic advisory on Monday morning after the arrival of US Vice President JD Vance and Indian-origin second lady Usha. JD Vance, his wife Usha and their three children -- Ewan, Vivek, and Mirabel -- are scheduled to land at the Palam airbase at 10 am on Monday on a four-day India visit.
To facilitate smooth traffic management around Air Force, Thimmaiya Marg, Parade Road, Gurugram Road, Sardar Patel Road, and Dhaula Kuan Flyover, the following restrictions will be in effect:
No vehicle will be allowed to halt or park on Sardar Patel Marg, Gurugram Road, Parade Road, Thimmaiya Marg, and Air Force Road or the surrounding areas.
Improperly parked vehicles on the above roads will be towed and prosecuted. Towed vehicles will be placed at the Traffic Pit Kalibari Mandir Marg and in front of Bhairon Mandir.
Commuters going towards 11 Murti to RML have been asked to use Vande Matram Marg from Dhaula Kuan Flyover to R/A Shankar Road, Talkatora Road and Sheikh Mujib-Ur-Rehman Marg to reach their destinations.
Commuters going towards Dhaula Kuan Flyover from IGI Airport or vice versa may use Rao Tula Ram Marg to reach their destinations.

The traffic police have advised commuters to avoid the mentioned roads where possible and use public transport to help ease congestion. Commuters have been advised to plan travel to ISBT, railway stations, and airports with ample time in hand, cooperate with traffic personnel, and follow all posted signage and directions.
Security has been tightened across different areas of Delhi to ensure that everything goes smoothly and no untoward incident happens during the visit, a senior police officer said. The Delhi Traffic Police will also ensure that traffic is clear and his travel across the capital happens without any problem, he said.
