Delhi: 2 Shooting Incidents In Capital, Gangster Demands Ransom Of Rs 5 Crores In Nangloi

Delhi Police confirmed that during the inquiry, it was discovered that 3 people entered the office and fired at the office building before fleeing.

A firing incident occurred near a gas agency in the Alipur area of Delhi. Reports indicate that three men on motorcycles carried out the shooting before escaping the location, Delhi police said, ANI reported.

According to a report by Lokmatt, Police responded quickly and have launched an investigation into the incident. Police are examining the scene and collecting evidence to understand the details of the attack. So far, no injuries have been reported.

In a separate incident, a shooting incident took place at a furniture shop in the Nangloi area of Delhi on Monday. The assailants left a pamphlet at the scene that mentioned gangster Ankesh Lakra and included a ransom demand for Rs 5 crore.

The police confirmed that there were no injuries related to this incident.

Cross-Firing In Jahangirpuri Area Of Delhi Kills A Man, 2 Injured

Similarly, s 35-year-old man was killed and two others were injured by a bullet in an incident of cross-firing in northwest the Jahangirpuri area of Delhi. The deceased has been identified as Deepak alias Patrakar, officials said on Sunday (October 20).

"Information was received from the BJRM Hospital regarding a man brought with multiple bullet injuries, who was declared dead," a senior police officer said, news agency PTI reported.

He stated that information was subsequently received from the hospital regarding the admission of two men, Narendra and Suraj, with bullet injuries. A police team reached the spot for a detailed investigation, the officer added.

The primary inquiry disclosed that there was a verbal spat between Deepak, his brother, and others, and Narendra and Suraj at a park.

"Both the parties opened fire at each other. Deepak sustained injuries on his neck, both legs and on his back. Narendra was hit by a bullet in his back and Suraj received injuries in his leg. Deepak was declared dead," the officer said. He added that an FIR under relevant legal provisions has been filed.
