A fire broke out on Monday morning in the server room of Sanjay Lake Metro Station, located in the Trilokpuri area, according to an official from the Delhi Fire Services.
The department received a call about the incident at 11:10 a.m., and the blaze is suspected to have been triggered by a short circuit.
"We immediately dispatched four fire tenders to the site, and the fire was brought under control by 1:10 p.m.," the official confirmed.
