Dausa High-Speed Car-Truck Collision Leaves 4 Dead In Rajasthan
Four people, including three women, died after a car crashed into a parked truck during an RTO check on Jaipur-Agra Highway near Dausa. Probe underway; victims believed to be from Haryana.

A devastating road accident occurred late Friday night on National Highway 21 near the RTO office in Dausa, claiming the lives of four people, including three women. The victims were traveling in a Haryana-registered car when it slammed into a stationary truck, reportedly stopped by transport authorities for inspection.
According to police, the crash happened around 12:15 AM near the Collectorate intersection, where a Jharkhand-registered truck was halted by the RTO team as part of a routine checking drive. The speeding car, heading from Khatu Shyamji towards Jaipur, rammed into the rear of the truck, leading to a fatal collision.
Victims Trapped in Car, Rescued After Intense Efforts
The impact was so severe that all passengers were trapped inside the mangled car. It took police and emergency teams nearly 30 minutes to separate the car from the truck and recover the bodies. Deputy SP Ravi Prakash Sharma and Kotwali police quickly responded to the scene.

The victims were rushed to the Dausa district hospital, where doctors declared them dead on arrival. While the identities of the deceased are yet to be confirmed, preliminary investigations suggest all were residents of Rohtak, Haryana, and members of the same family.
Highway Jammed, Investigation Underway
The accident led to a significant traffic jam on the highway, which was later cleared after the damaged vehicles were removed. Police have seized the truck and sent the bodies for post-mortem. Authorities are also reviewing CCTV footage and conducting a detailed probe to determine the exact cause of the crash.
Initial findings point to administrative negligence, as large vehicles are generally not supposed to be parked near the RTO premises. This incident has raised serious questions about the transport department’s enforcement protocols and safety measures during on-road inspections.
