Bihar Shocker: Woman Beats Her 3 Children, Throws Them Into Well After Fight With Husband

Police said after the complaint, a search operation was initiated and bodies were recovered from a well close to their house.

A woman has been arrested for reportedly killing all three of her children after a fight with her husband in the Samastipur district of Bihar, police said on Monday.

The accused identified as Seema Devi, 36, first hit the children and later, she threw them into a well after an argument with her husband, Chandan Mahattha.

When the husband asked the whereabouts of the children, she said that they had gone missing, later her husband filed a complaint with the police.

Following the complaint, a search operation was initiated and bodies were recovered from a well close to their house, the police added. Later, the woman confessed to the crime amidst the questioning. The deceased were identified as Tarun (6), Tanya (4), and Tanishq (2).

2-Year-Old Boy Killed In Noida After Celebratory Firing During Wedding

In a separate incident, a two-and-a-half-year-old boy was killed when a man allegedly opened celebratory fire during a ‘barat’ (wedding procession) in Noida, Uttar Pradesh on Sunday (February 16). As per a PTI report, the incident took place around 10 pm in Agahpur village when a ‘barat’ wedding procession was going on at the residence of Balveer Singh. 

However, the man who opened fire, fled the scene, as per a Times Now report. A case has been registered against the accused and efforts are on to arrest him.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Ram Badan Singh stated that during the wedding procession, a man named Happy, claiming to be from the groom's village, opened fire. According to the police, Vikas Sharma and his family were watching the procession from their balcony when a bullet struck his child. The boy was rushed to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead during treatment, the DCP added, as per PTI.
