On the death of Laliteshwar Yadav, the police said they had no information.
Locals said Amarjeet and Laliteshwar were last seen together on Tuesday evening and both of them were drunk. Laliteshwar Paswan's wife, Durga Devi, confirmed that he returned home from somewhere after drinking and refused to eat. After a while, he felt uneasy and asked for only water.
After a lot of uneasiness and restlessness, his condition deteriorated. Durga Devi said they were taking him to Darbhanga for treatment but he died on the way. She said that he must have died after drinking adulterated liquor. Benipatti SDPO Nishikant Bharti, however, refused to comment on the matter.
