What Kareena's Statement Said As Per The Chargesheet
According to the chargesheet, Kareena returned home at 1:20 AM on January 16 after meeting her friend Rhea Kapoor. At around 2:00 AM, Junnu (Jehangir's nanny) came to Saif and Kareena's room shouting that a man had come to his room with a knife in his hand, and was asking for money.
“Around 2am, Junnu came to our room screaming, ‘Jaybaba ke room me ek admi hath me chaku lekar aaya hai, aur wo paise maang raha hai," she said.
On hearing this, the couple rushed to Jehangir's room and saw the accused attacker. According to the chargesheet, Saif confronted the robber and asked "Who is it, what do you want?" and moved towards him. A scuffle broke out between the actor and the accused, who later ended up stabbing him multiple times in an attempt to flee.
Kareena said: "Saif held the attacker in his arms, but the attacker attacked him with a knife on his neck, back and hands."
The chargesheet states that another nanny, Geeta, ran to help Saif, but the attacker attacked her too and she sustained injuries on her hand.
Kareena then shouted, "Get Jaibaba (Jehangir) out quickly," and ran to the twelfth floor room with Jehangir, Taimur, and Alimma. A little while later, Saif came to the twelfth floor room, his clothes soaked in blood and wounds on his back and neck.

What Did Kareena Tell Saif After The Attack?
In her statement, Kareena also revealed that Saif was looking for something to attack the intruder.
"Saif was trying his best to catch the attacker, by then our servants Hari, Ramu, Ramesh and Paswan came to help. We all tried to find the attacker, but we could not find him anywhere," she said.
But seeing Saif's injuries, Kareena insisted that he leave everything and rush to a hospital first. "Yeh sab chhod do, neeche chalo, hospital jaate hain" (Leave all this, let’s go down and go to the hospital), she said. "We all got down from the lift to save our lives."
Saif was then rushed to Lilavati Hospital in an auto-rickshaw by Hari, along with Taimur. Later, Kareena contacted her sister Karisma Kapoor and manager Poonam Damania for help. Her manager's husband Tejas Damania informed the police, who arrived and searched the premises, but could not find any clues to the attacker.
The accused was arrested a few days after the attack and is currently in jail. He is accused of breaking into Saif Ali Khan's Mumbai residence with the intention of robbery and of attacking the actor and his staff member with a wooden weapon and blade.
