Missed Linking Aadhaar Card To LPG Connection? Here's How You Can Do it

Whether you are using a public or private LPG distributor, linking your Aadhaar is now an essential step for a smoother and more secure experience

To streamline services and prevent fraudulent activities, the Indian government has made it possible to link your Aadhaar card to your LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) connection. This integration increases security, helps ensure the accurate delivery of LPG, and can even streamline the subsidy process. Whether you are using a public or private LPG distributor, linking your Aadhaar is now an essential step for a smoother and more secure experience.

Here are some of the ways you can use to link your Aadhaar with your LPG connection online:

Linking Aadhaar With LPG Online

Follow these steps to link your Aadhaar card to your LPG connection online:

Step 1: Visit the official website of UIDAI and fill in the required information.

Step 2: Choose 'LPG' under the "Benefit Type" section. Then, select the appropriate "Scheme Name" based on your LPG connection provider (e.g., 'IOCL' for Indane gas).

Step 3: Choose your LPG distributor from the list, and enter your LPG consumer number.

Step 4: Enter your mobile number, email address, and Aadhaar card number. After filling in all the details, click 'Submit'.

Step 5: You will receive a One-Time Password (OTP) on both your registered mobile number and email address. Enter the OTP to complete the process.

Step 6: After submission, your information will be verified by authorized officials. Once verified, you will receive a confirmation notification on both your email and registered mobile number.

Offline Application Submission To Distributor

If you prefer an offline method, you can submit the application directly to your LPG distributor:

Step 1: Download the subsidy application form from your LPG provider’s website.

Step 2: Print and fill in the form with the necessary details.

Step 3: Visit your nearest LPG distributor office and submit the completed form.

Through Call Centre

You can also link your Aadhaar to your LPG connection by calling the customer support centre. You can speak with an operator who will guide you through the process.
