Patanjali Carries Forward India's 'Gurukul' Legacy With Its Education Initiatives

Patanjali Ayurveda has expanded its footprint in the education sector, aiming to improve the future of underprivileged children through yoga, Ayurveda, and schooling.

Patanjali For Child Education: Yoga guru Baba Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishna's Patanjali Ayurved has now made its mark in the education sector, alongside yoga and Ayurveda. Patanjali's education schemes have ushered in a modern era for gurukuls. Patanjali's education schemes are changing the lives of poor children in the country. Patanjali's Acharyakulam, Gurukul and Patanjali University are working to provide good education to poor children.

In these schools, children are taught modern subjects along with the Vedas and Indian culture. AcharyaKulam, located in Haridwar, is a CBSE-affiliated school offering classes from 5 to 12. Here, children are given moral education along with good studies. Gurukul also emphasises modern education alongside Indian culture and the Vedas.

Aim To Open More Than 500 Schools In India

Patanjali has taken several steps to help poor children under its corporate social responsibility (CSR) programmes. They have spent a large sum of money on schools like Acharyakulam and aim to open more than 500 schools across India. This will provide poor children with affordable and good education. Patanjali's education programmes are not only educating children, but also inspiring them to contribute to society.

On Patanjali's 30th anniversary, Patanjali founder Swami Ramdev said that their aim is to bring about a major change in the education sector. This change will help to brighten the future of poor children by providing them with better education.
