New Hope Emerges In Parkinson’s Treatment, Study Published In International Research Journal

Patanjali has stated that an Ayurvedic medicine named Neurogrit Gold helps in improving memory loss caused by Parkinson’s disease and also aids in increasing lifespan.

Patanjali Ayurved has informed that recent research conducted by the company’s scientists on C. Elegans confirms that the Ayurvedic medicine Neurogrit Gold not only helps improve memory loss caused by Parkinson’s disease, but also contributes to increasing the lifespan of organisms. Moreover, it does not have any adverse effects on their length or reproductive capacity. Patanjali claims that this exemplary research has been published in the international Wiley publication’s research journal, CNS Neuroscience & Therapeutics.

Patanjali Ayurved Chairman Acharya Balkrishna said, "In Parkinson’s disease, a person not only becomes mentally unwell, but his social circle also starts shrinking. But is there any way by which an unwell person can recover and carry out their daily activities properly without any assistance? Now we can say with full confidence that yes, it is possible."

Neurogrit Gold Is A Unique Blend Of Ayurveda And Modern Science — Balkrishna

Acharya Balkrishna further said, "Neurogrit Gold is a unique blend of our heritage Ayurveda and modern science. This research demonstrates that if natural herbs are analysed from a scientific perspective, revolutionary changes can be brought in solving the problems of this modern era." He stated that Neurogrit Gold is made from natural herbs like Jyotishmati and Giloy, along with Ekangveer Ras, Moti Pishti, Rajat Bhasma, Vasant Kusumakar Ras, Rasraj Ras, etc., which are considered beneficial in brain disorders.

Meanwhile, Vice President and Chief Scientist of Patanjali Research Institute, Dr. Anurag Varshney, said, "This innovative experiment on C. elegans has been conducted for the first time with any Ayurvedic medicine, and its results are not only exciting for the scientific community but may have a deep impact on human health in the times to come."

What Is Parkinson’s?

He explained, "Dopamine is an important neurotransmitter and hormone in our brain, which controls our body functions and movements. But when, for some reason, this dopamine is unable to function properly, the body loses its balance and the brain begins to forget tasks that we used to perform easily. This condition is called Parkinson’s."

Patanjali claims, "Consumption of Neurogrit Gold reduced oxidative stress levels in these organisms, and increased the expression of genes such as pink-1 and pdr-1 involved in mitochondrial autophagy, as well as cat-2, which is involved in dopamine synthesis, all of which had been diminished due to Parkinson’s disease."
