Nestle India Q3: Net Profit Climbs 6 Per Cent, Firm Announces Dividend Of Rs 14.25 Per Share

The revenue of the firm rose 4 per cent from Rs 4,600.4 crore in the October-December in FY24, to Rs 4,779.7 crore in the reviewing quarter.

Nestle India reported a 6 per cent growth in its net profit in the third quarter results of the current fiscal year 2024-25 (FY25) reported on Friday. The FMCG firm clocked net profit of Rs 696 crore in the October-December quarter in FY25, against Rs 655.6 crore reported in the corresponding quarter in the preceding 2023-24 fiscal year (FY24).

The company recorded a 3.3 per cent growth in its domestic sales in the quarter under review, while overall sales climbed 3.9 per cent during the period, both on a year-on-year (YoY) basis. The firm clocked domestic sales of Rs 4,566.05 crore in Q3FY25, against Rs 4,421.79 crore logged in the year-ago period.

Nestle also approved a second interim dividend of Rs 14.25 per equity share for FY25 for the shareholders. It declared February 7, 2025 to be the record date for dividend payment.

Elaborating on the performance, Suresh Narayanan, Chairman and MD, Nestle India, said, “This quarter 3 out of 4 product groups delivered healthy growth led by a combination of pricing and volume. Key brands continue to perform and this augurs well in a challenging environment. Our powdered and liquid beverages business was the largest growth contributor this quarter, with high double-digit growth. Beverages retail achieved a significant milestone by surpassing Rs. 2,000 crore business in the last twelve months, spearheaded by NESCAFÉ CLASSIC, NESCAFÉ SUNRISE, and NESCAFÉ GOLD.”

Following the results announcement, the company's shares rallied ahead in the stock market. As of 12:41 PM, the stock of the firm climbed 6.13 per cent to trade at Rs 2,353.30 apiece on the NSE. Meanwhile, at the same time, on the BSE, the company’s stock traded at Rs 2,352.75 per share, rising 6.04 per cent in the session.
