‘Where Is The Window’? Asks IndiGo Passenger After Paying Extra For A Window Seat, Check Viral Post HERE
In a post on X, Pradeep Muthu said that he paid specifically for a window seat in the flight, however, once he boarded, he was taken aback by his seating arrangement.

An IndiGo flyer became the talk of the town after he shared his experience of travelling with the airline recently. Pradeep Muthu, a sports commentator based out of Chennai, took to social media and shared details of his latest flight with IndiGo.
In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Muthu said that he paid specifically for a window seat in the flight, however, once he boarded, he was taken aback by his seating arrangement. While he was given a window seat, there was no window next to the seat.
Tagging the airline, he questioned, “I paid for a window seat da.. where is the window.” The post went viral quickly and received over 9 lakh views.

The post ended up receiving a response from the airline with a customer support executive reaching out to Muthu and asking for his PNR details to look into the matter.

Netizens expressed their amazement at the situation, while one user humorously said, “You should carry a drill machine and hammer; make them your own. They are developing our skills.” Meanwhile, another pointed out that the airline must have assigned Muthu the emergency exit row seat, which they argued has more leg room.
Another user sarcastically said, “IndiGo upgraded you to the 'imagination class' - where the window view is up to you.”
Some users also compared IndiGo to Ryanair, a low-cost airline based in Dublin, Ireland. Notably, Ryanair got infamous last year for assigning a window seat without a window to one of its passengers. On raising the issue via social media, the carrier even responded, "Staring at it won't change it," earning a mixed response from the Internet.
