Gautam Adani’s Son Jeet Commits Rs 10 Lakh To Support 500 Disabled Brides Yearly; Here's What Father Said

Two days before his wedding, Jeet Adani met with 21 newly married women with disabilities and their husbands at his home to launch this initiative. Jeet is set to marry Diva Shah on Friday

Ahead of the wedding of Jeet Adani, the younger son of billionaire industrialist Gautam Adani, the Adani family has announced 'Mangal Seva,' an initiative to support newly married women with disabilities. The initiative will begin by providing financial assistance of Rs 10 lakh each to 500 women annually.

Two days before his wedding, Jeet Adani met with 21 newly married women with disabilities and their husbands at his home to launch this initiative. Jeet is set to marry Diva Shah on Friday, in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

Adani Group chairman shared his joy on X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, “It is a matter of immense joy that my son Jeet and daughter-in-law Diva are starting their married life with a holy resolution. Jeet and Diva have pledged to do 'Mangal Seva' by providing financial assistance of Rs. 10 lakhs for each sister in the marriage of 500 handicapped sisters every year. As a father, this ‘Mangal Seva’ is a matter of immense satisfaction and good fortune for me.”

“I have full faith that through this sacred effort, the lives of many disabled daughters and their families will move forward with happiness, peace and respect. I pray to the Lord to give Jeet and Diva the blessings and strength to continue moving forward on this path of service,” he added.

Jeet Adani currently serves as the Director of Adani Airport Holdings. In addition to his role in the airports business, he oversees the Adani Group’s defence, petrochemicals, and copper sectors, and is responsible for driving the Group’s digital transformation.

Jeet Adani joined the Adani Group in 2019 after studying at the University of Pennsylvania. He started in the Group CFO’s office, focusing on Capital Markets, Risk, Governance, and Strategic Finance. In June 2020, he became the Director of Adani Airport Holdings.

Inspired by his mother, Dr Priti Adani, Jeet is passionate about philanthropy, particularly supporting people with disabilities. He has been instrumental in the Adani Foundation’s initiatives, including Swavalamban, which supports education, skills development, and livelihood opportunities for differently abled individuals. In 2024, he facilitated a collaboration to distribute over 1,150 technical kits to students with disabilities across Gujarat.

He also pushed the Mitti Cafes at Adani airports, employing individuals with disabilities, and launched GreenX Talks in 2023 to share inspiring stories of resilience.
