New Delhi: TVS has introduced its updated iQube electric scooter with various updates notably its 7-inch screen with a new UI, voice assist and TVS iQube Alexa integration, OTA updates, 1.5 kW fast-charging, Bluetooth and Cloud Connectivity, etc.
However, in terms of its dynamics, the top-of-the-line variant, TVS iQube ST is powered by TVS Motor-designed 5.1 kWh battery pack which gives a 140 km on-road range. The other two variants, the iQube S and iQube get a 3.4 kWh battery pack/100 km range. So how does it compare to the other electric scooters? Let us find out with a quick comparison in terms of their specifications.
The iQube S and iQube ST have a 4.4 kW output vs the 8.5 kW output of the Ola S1 Pro while the Ather has an output of 5.4 kW. Torque-wise, the TVS stands in between at 33 Nm vs the Ather at 22 Nm and Ola at 58 Nm.

The base and S variants of the iQube are priced around Rs 98,564 and Rs 1.08 lakh (on-road Delhi with subsidies) while Ola S1 prices are Rs 85,000 and Rs 1.2 lakh for the S1 Pro (ex-showroom). Do note that the top-end iQube ST prices have not been announced yet.
The Ather, meanwhile, is priced at Rs 1.19 lakh to Rs 1.4 lakh (ex-showroom). While the range and power outputs do differ, the actual riding experience decides which one is best for you.
For now, the Ather according to us is one of the best buys but we are yet to fully test the other two so stay tuned for that. Whichever scooter works for you depends on your usage pattern and requirements but the electric scooter is surely increasing with the new competition and benefiting the buyer.
