Tata Punch Facelift To Get More Features, Expected Launch Date

There would be no changes mechanically on the Punch Facelift with the same 1.2l petrol being offered with both manual as well as automatic options

Tata Motors is readying a facelifted version of it's best selling car, the Punch while the changes would mostly be limited to cosmetic upgrades. The Punch has risen to the best selling car in India many times and Tata Motors will make the ICE version closer to the EV. The Punch Facelift will get a new front end like the Punch EV while the headlamps would be new as well. Elsewhere the Punch Facelift will get new alloy wheels and redesigned taillamps.

Size wise the Punch will remain the same but Tata Motors could also introduce new colours. Inside, there would be bigger changes with a larger touchscreen similar to the EV version plus a new instrument cluster. Expect more tech on offer with wireless smartphone connectivity, connected car tech and more. However it remains to be seen if it will get premium features similar to the Punch EV.

The design would be freshened up too on the inside with a new upholstery. There would be no changes mechanically on the Punch Facelift with the same 1.2l petrol being offered with both manual as well as automatic options.

Tata Punch Facelift To Get More Features, Expected Launch Date

The Punch has been the best selling car in its class for a while now and these changes will make it more premium while taking it closer to the EV Punch which considerably has more features right now. We do expect prices to increase over the current Punch due to the features upgrade and the design tweaks. We expect the Punch Facelift to be launched at the end of this year. More details regarding the new Punch Facelift will be revealed soon.
