Tata Altroz Facelift: New Vs Old

From the side, the dimensions are the same but there are new alloys and crucially, there are flush door handles as well

The new Altroz is coming in a few days time and here let us take a look at what has changed over the earlier one. The new Altroz is a cosmetic upgrade but a big facelift with a revised styling. The front-end has a new grille design as well as slim LED headlamps along with new DRLs while the bumper is also all new. The car has a wider look as well and looks different from the earlier car.

From the side, the dimensions are the same but there are new alloys and crucially, there are flush door handles as well. The rear also gets new tail-lamps and the bumper is also all new with a different design. The new Altroz will also get new colours while overall, it looks fresher and modern.

The interiors while not being revealed would be having some changes as well including a larger touchscreen from the Racer version while we can expect ventilated seats, 360 degree camera and more features as well. Compared to the present Altroz, we do not expect any changes in terms of the space on offer.

We also expect the engine options to remain the same with the new Altroz as well and yes, even the diesel would be retained and it would be the only premium hatchback to have one. In terms of prices, we can expect a slight increase owing to the changes. As we have said earlier, the new Altroz will go on sale from 22nd of this month and more details would be revealed closer to the launch date of this new Tata Motors car.
