The customers are eagerly waiting for the off-roading SUV Gurkha from Force Motors. This SUV was introduced at last year's Auto Expo. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, it has not been launched in India. But as the pandemic subsides, the company may soon launch it in the Indian market. Recently, the company spoke about the launch of this SUV on social media, but the official date of launch was not announced.

Changes expected in the vehicle

Apart from this, changes like new fog lamps, wheel cladding, blacked-out side rearview mirrors, and roof carrier can also be seen. . Its cabin is loaded with features like a new touchscreen infotainment system, a black dashboard, circular AC vents, front power windows, and a three-spoke steering wheel. With these changes, the vehicle will look more powerful.

Engine 
The second-generation Gurkha will get a 2.6-liter diesel engine with BS6 standard, which generates power of 89bhp. . This engine will be equipped with a 5-speed manual gearbox, as well a four-wheel drive (4x4) will also be available in it. . The vehicle will get double hydraulic spring coil suspension and 17-inch tubeless tires. . No information has been received yet about the date on which it will be launched in India. 

Force Gurkha Mahindra will compete with Thar
The 2021 Force Gurkha will compete with the Mahindra Thar. . Mahindra Thar is available in petrol and diesel engine options. . It also gets a new 2.2-liter turbocharged engine, which generates 130PS of power and 300Nm of torque. . It gets the facility of 6-speed manual gearbox. . It has the option of a 6-speed automatic transmission(AT). . The 2021 Force Gurkha gets coil-over damper and stabilizer bar suspension with double-wishbone in the front along with solid real axle suspension and stabilizer bar. Thar traverses the rough roads with ease. The ex-showroom price of Mahindra Thar ranges from Rs 12.12 lakh to Rs 14.17 lakh.
