The new Kodiaq will come in either Laurin and Klement (L&K) and Sportline form with the L&K version being better equipped with features like heated and ventilated powered seats

Skoda will be launching the new generation Kodiaq in India and while the price will be revealed soon, the new Kodiaq is expected to be more expensive than the earlier version. The new Kodiaq will come in either Laurin and Klement (L&K) and Sportline form with the L&K version being better equipped with features like heated and ventilated powered seats while the Sportline will come with bucket seat options. Other features include a 3-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, a 360 degree camera plus the seat will also get a massage function.

The main screen is a big 13-inch unit and there is also a digital instrument cluster. The new generation Kodiaq is also bigger and more spacious on the inside while the engine on offer would be a 2.0l turbo petrol with 204hp. Standard would be a 7-speed dual clutch automatic along with AWD being available. The fuel efficiency is a claimed 14.86kpl. The new Kodiaq as said before would be expected to be more expensive although the difference between the old and new would not be huge as we expect the new Kodiaq to start from Rs 45 lakh.

The new Kodiaq will compete with the likes of the Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line, Jeep Meridian and Toyota Fortuner amongst others.
