Mahindra BE 6e and XEV 9e EVs Launched — Check Prices And Features

Mahindra debuts two new electric vehicles, the BE 6e and XEV 9e, with impressive performance and range. Both EVs boast rear electric motors, large battery packs, and advanced features like AR HUDs and ADAS level 2

The XEV 9e also gets a rear electric motor with either a 59 or a 79 kWh battery pack while prices start at Rs 21.9 lakh.

Mahindra has launched its new range of born electric EVs based on the Inglo architecture called BE 6e and XEV 9e. The BE 6e is priced at Rs 18.9 lakh starting and comes with a rear electric motor with either a 59 or a 79kwh battery pack. The XEV 9e also gets a rear electric motor with either a 59 or a 79 kWh battery pack while prices start at Rs 21.9 lakh.

The power figures for both of the EVs are impressive with nearly 281bhp and 0-100 km/h time of 6.7 seconds for the BE 6e and 6.8 for the XEV E9. Both the EVs are born electric and get a radical design too. The features list for the EVs includes an augmented reality heads-up display, dual-zone climate control, ambient lighting for the roof and panoramic sunroof, and aircraft style gear lever while the XEV 9e has an additional passenger touchscreen. Another luxury feature is the 16-speaker audio system with customised modes and of course, safety included ADAS level 2.

Similar design details on both of the EVs include flush door handles, and coupe-like styling while the BE 6E has aero-efficient wheels.

The range for the BE 6E is around 682km while the same battery pack in the heavier XEV 9e is 656km but again these figures are more than rivals.

Mahindra will start deliveries next year and the full price list will be revealed soon too at next year's Bharat Mobility Show.
