New Delhi: The automobile manufacturer company Kia has made a big impact in the Indian market in a short span of time. Now, it is soon going to launch a new top-end variant of its popular compact SUV Kia Seltos. It will be introduced as Seltos X-Line. The X-line dark theme variant of Kia Seltos has been unveiled in the Indian market. The car is likely to be launched in India next month.
Changes: Kia Seltos X Line variant may be launched in India with some cosmetic changes and several new features. The model's exterior gets an orange accent and a gloss black insert, which gives it an imposing appearance. The orange highlights on the lower section of the grill make it quite ravishing to look at. The model is wrapped in a special matte exterior. The new Seltos features a rearview mirror with a sporty look. It will have 18-inch crystal cut matte graphite alloy wheels as well as a dual exhaust pipe.
Design and Features: Kia Seltos X Line will get shining black highlights around the grille. Its headlights won't see much change. Its front bumper has also been improved. Its design and layout are largely the same as before. The SUV will feature a 10.25-inch touchscreen display with UVO connected car system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. In addition, automatic climate control, sunroof, air purification system, bose sound system has also been provided.
Engine: Kia Seltos X Line is likely to be available with a 1.4-litre turbo petrol motor and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The 1.4-liter GDI turbo petrol engine will be able to generate up to 138bhp power and up to 250Nm of torque. In addition, 1.5 litres of CRDi diesel engine will generate up to 113bhp of power and up to 250Nm of torque.
Competitor - Hyundai Creta
Kia Seltos X Line will compete with Hyundai Creta SUV in the Indian auto market. Creta remains the best selling car in its segment, so it remains to be seen how Kia's new SUV will fair against Hyundai Creta.
