  • The most interesting bit regarding the exteriors is the unique styling of the Carens. The front-end especially gets a new face which makes it different looking from a Seltos. The headlamps and DRLs are separated while the grille has a cool pattern with a gloss black surface. It surely stands out because of its front look though its 16-inch wheels are a bit too small.
  • The interior design is another highlight for the Carens with nice dual-tone upholstery, high-quality bits while the basic dashboard is divided into layers including a 10.25-inch screen at the top half. The instrument cluster is also digital.

  • Perhaps the biggest highlight is its one-touch electric folding seat mechanism for entry to the third row. You only have to press a button and the seats fold out which means you can easily get in. The third row is also pretty good in terms of space. The middle row also gets a good amount of space, though the air purifier for the seat behind the driver slightly reduces knee room.

  • Kia has packed in a good amount of equipment with 64 colour ambient lighting, Bose audio system, connected car technology, air purifier, sunroof (not panoramic), ventilated seats plus 6 airbags standard.
  • The Carens gets two petrol and one diesel, the pick of the range for now, for us, is the 1.4l turbo petrol with paddle shifters. It feels like a car with being easy to drive plus the engine being refined. The small wheels also help in the ride quality factor.
