In this article we compare the features of the new Tata Curvv against the segment best seller which is the Hyundai Creta. Features are a big draw obviously and we will see which SUV offers more in that regard.

Technology features

The Curvv has a 12.3 inch touchscreen and a 10.25 digital instrument cluster while the Creta has a dual 10.25 inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.25 touchscreen. Both offer connected car technology and level 2 adas features as well. Other features present on both include a powered handbrake plus wireless charging. The Creta has an inbuilt app for music though.

Comfort features

The Curvv has various comfort features like a powered drivers seat and dual ventilated seats. The Creta also has a powered drivers seat and ventilated seats for both driver plus passenger. The Creta has dual zone climate control while the Curvv has climate control. Both SUVs get a 360 degree camera with a blind view monitor. Of course both SUVs also get a panoramic sunroof. Then the rear seat has recline function for both while the Creta has a cushion plus sunblinds.

Engine and specs

The Creta comes with two petrol and one diesel with automatic in all while the turbo petrol has a DCT automatic with the diesel having a torque converter instead. The naturally aspirated version has a CVT automatic. The Curvv has three engine options too with the base 1.2l turbo being similar to the Nexon while there is a new turbo petrol too. There is a diesel and all three get a DCA dual clutch automatic.

Expected prices

We will know the prices of the Curvv soon while the Creta retails between Rs 11 lakh and Rs 20.5 lakh. We expect the Curvv ICE to be priced between Rs 10.9 lakh to Rs 20 lakh.
