Applicants Can Take Driving Licence Test 7 Days A Week From Next Year Between 8 AM To 8 PM

The driving license process is going to be even easier. Next year onwards, applicants can appear for the driving test on any day of the week between 8 am to 8 pm.

The government has taken several concrete steps in the recent past regarding the driving license which will be beneficial for applicants. At the same time, the government is going to take another new initiative in this direction. In fact, from next year, applicants can go to the RTO for the test on any day of the week from 8 am to 8 pm. More applicants will be able to take the test in a day.

These RTOs will start new timings
The government will implement the new timings in these five busiest RTOs in Delhi. These include Sarai Kale Khan (South Zone), Loni Road (North East Zone), Shakur Basti (North West Zone), Rohini (North West II Zone), and Janakpuri (West Zone). Most of the applicants visit these RTOs. This facility will gradually be extended in other RTOs'.

The hassle of waiting in line will end
With the completion of Lado Sarai, Harinagar, and Jharoda Kalan next year, there will be a total of 12 driving test tracks in Delhi. The government is also planning the maintenance of these tracks through the agency. The government will bring a system in place to get reduce the congestion in the tracks. With the help of an electronic queue management system, applicants will take the test according to the numbers allotted to them. CCTV cameras will be installed in the test centers that can be monitored by the Transport Department Headquarters. A manager will be present at the center to ensure its smooth functioning.

Slots can be booked online
Applicants will be able to book their slots online for the test, after which they will have to visit the center as per the booked date and time. The documents will be checked by the officials. Then the applicant will have to wait for his turn in the waiting area and take the test on his turn. After this, the test result will be sent to the concerned authority, after which the license will be issued to the applicant.
